What is Microfibre?
Microfibre is an incomparable cleaning tool. Made out of 80% polyester and 20% polyamide fibre of 2 dernier, which is split into nine different microfilaments of 0.2 dernier (1g of this material equals 45.000 meters of thread). With its excellent cleaning abilities and high durability, microfibre is not only a breakthrough in cleaning technology, but is becoming the first choice among more and more cleaning companies.
A quick dry dust is often all that is needed!
The fibres are made of a revolutionary yarn that combines wedge shapes polyester filaments and a core of nylon. The wedge shaped filaments follow the surface, trapping particles inside the fibre, thus avoiding the need for detergents. The capillary effect between the filaments and nylon core creates a very high absorbency which enables the cloth to clean and polish at the same time! You only need water to clean any type of surface.
The Microfibre Cleaning System
Microfibre combines friction, static energy and capillary effects to absorb and remove dirt and moisture more effectively than any other cleaning product tested.
Designed and invented in Sweden for use on real wood floors microfibre is a high technology product, made finer than the thread of a fine silk stocking and smaller than most anything we see in our daily life. The microfibre size is 1/100 the thickness of a stocking’s thread!
